Job Summary
Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for lodge guests and collaborate with the Lodge Chef on wine pairings. Manage on-site beverage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and daily record keeping of all alcohol sales through the POS system. Host guests in lounge and bar areas, facilitate the evening social scene, and perform radio duty to support field operations. Maintain a clean work area, enforce BC Liquor Laws, and adhere to OH&S and WHMIS standards. This seasonal role involves an 11-hour split shift with a 2 weeks on/1 week off schedule, with accommodation provided at no extra cost.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Serving It Right Certificate
- Strong foundational knowledge of wines, beers, and liquors
- Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience
- Experience with ordering and inventory management
- Background in luxury hospitality or fine dining, preferred
- Integrity, discretion, and critical thinking
- Adaptability and effective problem-solving skills
- Positive, collaborative working style
- Ability to build meaningful relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills

- Willingness to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business
- Willingness to accept new responsibilities and potentially transfer others
