Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service, ring up sales, and arrange deliveries or pick-ups for customers. Build rapport through conversation and honest recommendations while assisting with special events, in-store tastings, and merchandise display setups. Write wine and spirits descriptions, invite customers to the wine club, and support Fine and Rare and Business Development managers. Work nights, weekends, and holidays, standing for long periods and lifting cases up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years of experience in wine sales
- Genuine appreciation of and passion for the Wine & Spirits industry
- Experience with Microsoft based application, including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Customer Service focused with the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
- High-energy, team player with excellent communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Regularly lifts and moves cases of wine and spirits, up to fifty (50) pounds
