Job Summary
Lead engaging wine tastings, share knowledge in an approachable manner, and create memorable experiences for guests to help them discover wines they love. Assist with special wine events and promotions while keeping the tasting room beautifully stocked and displayed. Process sales transactions and build lasting relationships with customers using the Point of Sale system. This role requires weekend availability and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. St. Julian Winery, Michigan's oldest winery, offers hands-on training to expand wine knowledge with no prior experience needed.
Required Qualifications
- A people-person who enjoys talking to guests and making them feel welcome
- Strong communication & public speaking skills
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfort with basic technology (Point of Sale system, Word, Excel)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Weekend availability required
