Job Summary
Wine & Beer Associate at Heinen’s grocery store responsible for building knowledge of the Wine & Beer Department, assisting customers with wine and beer selections, coordinating product demonstrations and events with the Wine & Beer Lead, executing daily operations including stocking, merchandising, shrink tracking, and order writing, and ensuring compliance with food safety and company policies. Role requires passion for retail, strong customer service, ability to work with minimal supervision, and availability for flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 21+ to comply with alcohol service regulations; knowledge of wines from around the world and the ability to guide customers in pairing and selection; physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
