Job Summary
Wine Advisor provides customers with information about wines and recommends tastings and wine-food pairings. Responsibilities include demonstrations of wine products, ensuring the department is well stocked and presented, handling customer service inquiries, and delivering a positive customer experience. The role requires Serving It Right Certification (or willingness to obtain), a passion for great food and service, a strong work ethic, and a proactive, customer-focused attitude. Prior retail customer service experience is considered an asset. Compensation ranges from $18.25 to $21.00 per hour, with up to 16 hours per week and weekend availability preferred. Location: Whatcom – Abbotsford, BC, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Serving It Right Certification or willingness to obtain it
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Open weekend availability preferred
- Retail customer service experience (asset)
