Job Summary
Deliver technology education curriculum aligned with state and district goals; facilitate computer science instruction including coding to develop computational thinking and problem solving; instruct, model, and promote proactive digital citizenship and safe online practices; teach foundational technology skills including keyboarding, hardware/software basics, file management, and digital research; promote a safe, differentiated classroom environment; design and adapt lesson plans and instructional materials to maximize instructional time; create learning activities applying technical skills to everyday needs; pursue ongoing professional development in educational technology; ensure student conduct aligns with school standards and district policies while maintaining a functional learning atmosphere; demonstrate knowledge of current teaching methods and pedagogy, elementary curriculum, and ability to integrate technology across grades K-6; utilize Google Applications, Mac OS, Chromebooks, and related tools; effective communication with students and parents; collaborate to support student growth and professional development.
