Job Summary
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise Windows infrastructure. Architect and engineer Windows Server solutions with high availability and performance optimization; design and maintain Active Directory, GPO strategy, identity lifecycle, and security hardening. Drive Nutanix cluster design and performance, manage Rubrik backup/recovery for enterprise data protection and DR readiness, and lead Okta-driven SSO/MFA/identity governance initiatives. Own operational excellence for health, performance, and security of Windows and virtualized systems; perform root-cause analysis and drive long-term remediation. Develop detailed documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams. Enforce security baselines, patching, and hardening across Windows and identity platforms, partnering with security teams for audits and compliance (SOC, ISO, NIST). Develop automation with PowerShell and other tools to streamline operations and enable cloud-readiness, hybrid identity, and infrastructure-as-code. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers; collaborate with networking, security, DevOps, and application teams. Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of experience in Windows systems engineering or enterprise infrastructure roles
- Expert-level proficiency with: Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Microsoft Entra/M365, Active Directory (GPO, DNS, DHCP), Nutanix (AHV, Prism, cluster operations), Rubrik backup and recovery solutions, Okta administration (SSO, MFA, lifecycle automation)
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities
- Solid understanding of virtualization, networking, storage, and security fundamentals
- LI-Hybrid (employment intent)
