Job Summary
Administer and maintain advanced Windows Server environments and Microsoft enterprise services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Azure Cloud, and VMware. Monitor daily system operations by identifying and resolving complex issues affecting servers, applications, and operating systems. Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization to ensure reliable system performance. Install, configure, secure, and maintain SQL databases while reviewing and implementing Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts and Bulletins. Support global operations by maintaining secure, resilient infrastructure with potential travel to U.S. Navy commands within and outside the continental United States.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance (in DISS)
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
- Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification
- Active Windows Server operating system certification
- Extensive experience administering enterprise Windows environments, including Active Directory (AD), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Microsoft Exchange email services, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Remote Desktop Services, VMware, Omnissa, desktop management, and Windows Server services
- Experience performing advanced system troubleshooting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Travel to support other U.S. Navy commands both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS)
