Job Summary
Windows Systems Administrator responsible for the installation, configuration, operation, monitoring and maintenance of Windows Server environments across a multi-site multinational Enterprise. Requires in-depth knowledge of Windows Server setup, deployment and maintenance, PowerShell coding, and the ability to solve complex IT issues while applying and adhering to security policies. Responsibilities include running a Windows Server environment, incident and service request resolution, monitoring and preventative maintenance, collaboration with internal users and teams, and delivering changes with proper handover documentation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with interactions across teams and a standard 8:00AM-4:00PM MST schedule; remote work is supported.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Candidates with MCSE, MCSA and or other Azure related Microsoft Certifications will be preferred
- Knowledge and experience with Windows 2016/2019, AD (Active Directory), System Center Configuration Manager and System Center Operations Manager (optional)
- Office 365/Intune experience
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Good Grasp of network design and security
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Ability to stay focused to ensure that tickets are completed accurately and on time
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Elevated level of Information Security awareness
