Job Summary
Design and execute test plans for Windows-based applications, validating software packages, installations, and configurations across Windows 10/11 and Server environments. Perform QA validation on endpoint management solutions including Microsoft Intune deployments, while troubleshooting OS deployments, task sequences, and Hyper-V virtual machine environments. Document defects clearly and collaborate with development teams to drive resolution, supporting automation initiatives where applicable. Ensure reliability and usability across enterprise IT workflows by testing file system operations, permissions, and enterprise file management processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of experience in QA Engineering with strong Windows ecosystem exposure
- Hands-on experience building OS deployment images and task sequences for Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar endpoint/device management platforms
- Strong knowledge of software packaging, installation, and troubleshooting
- Experience working with virtual machines and virtualization platforms
- Practical experience with Hyper-V installation, configuration, and support
- Background in IT Helpdesk or Desktop Support environments
- Solid understanding of file systems, permissions, and enterprise file management
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools or scripting (PowerShell preferred)
- Familiarity with Azure-based environments and cloud-managed endpoints
- Exposure to security practices, patching, and vulnerability validation
- Experience in enterprise IT environments supporting multiple users/endpoints
- Windows deployment processes
