Job Summary
Conduct Windows 11 and RHEL system administration, developing PowerShell and bash scripts to automate infrastructure. Perform technical engineering and design reviews for current and new capabilities while hardening servers to DISA standards, including compliance with STIG, CTO, and other guidance. Maintain asset tracking databases and develop standard operating procedures, assisting with vendor quote procurement and equipment shipping to remote teams. This 100% onsite role supports the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation network and secure enclaves for NIWC PAC.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance Level Secret
- Certifications (IAT Level II)
- One of the following: Security+ CE
- One of the following: GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
- One of the following: Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
- One of the following: System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- 3+ Years of Experience with Windows Systems
- 3+ Years of Experience with RHEL Systems
- Developing and using PowerShell and bash scripts
- Experience with the IAVM process (STIGs and patches)
Desired Qualifications
- Windows/RHEL System Administration Experience
- Automation using Ansible playbook
- Experience with endpoint security
