Job Summary
Window Service Technician responsible for ensuring Parr Lumber’s windows and doors meet customer needs, addressing issues during shipping and installation, and building relationships with larger clients. Performs “Lock & Slide” screen installs as part of a value-added service, responds to client requests on job sites, and contributes to Parr’s Legendary Service Through Teamwork. The role requires experience with wood and vinyl window assembly, installation, and repair, strong problem-solving and communication skills, the ability to work unsupervised, and a valid driver’s license. Pay is $27.95-$32.65 per hour. The role includes on-site work across job sites with emphasis on safety, paperwork accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with wood and vinyl window assembly, installation, and repair
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to gather facts and problem solve
- Knowledge of window and door products
- Ability to work unsupervised and desires a high level of responsibility
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to daily changing needs and demands of the team
- Working knowledge of personal computers and application
- Ability to speak, write, and read English
