Job Summary
Install, replace, and repair residential windows and patio doors while performing trim carpentry and frame work. Measure, cut, and install glass components; apply caulking and sealing with strong attention to detail. Safely handle heavy lifting and movement of large units, wrap window trim using a metal brake, and maintain a clean job site. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment with precision to complete projects efficiently and independently. Perform 15-20 services per week.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in window installation, door installation, glass installation, or residential construction
- Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, remodeling practices, and installation techniques
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Experience with trim carpentry and remodeling projects
- Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and physical work
- Experience using a metal brake to wrap exterior trim with aluminum coil
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Commitment to craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physically able to inspect a building by climbing ladders, kneeling, and crawling
- Physically able to install or repair windows and materials
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
Desired Qualifications
- Three years of related experience or comparable training
