Job Summary
Determine roving types for scheduled products, string through the eye board, and comb. Confirm winding programs, mandrels, and seals before filling the resin bath and winding initial conduit. Verify angle, wind patterns, and outside diameter specifications while monitoring dimensional and aesthetic requirements. Maintain accurate production records, perform changeovers with assistance, and execute simple maintenance and housekeeping tasks. Complete shutdown and cleaning procedures as appointed by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to be medically cleared to wear respirator and other PPE required for the job
- Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner
- Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
- Good understanding of math skills required for quick and accurate counting, calculations and measurements including radius, inside and outside diameter, and length
- Attention to detail, accuracy, time management and organization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Two year's previous shop experience
