Job Summary
Rewinding and repair of generator rotors and stators; removal and rewinding of windings; insulation system repairs in GEMTEC or on site; inspection of hardware and consumables required for rewinding; standard electrical testing during rewinding; final visual inspection of rotor and stator; electrical testing of generators; maintenance of tools and equipment in service workshop; write reports/protocols; support spin pit team if required; ensure compliance with EH&S and ethics/compliance rules; prepare and maintain periodic inspections for workshop tools and components.
Required Qualifications
- Execution of rewinding and repair work as per technical instructions and instruction from Lead winder
- Should be able to understand windings and mechanical assembly drawings
