Job Summary
Windchill Functional Architect to design/architect, test, and demonstrate Windchill solutions within an advanced Software and Enterprise Solutions team supporting US Dept of War customers. Requires Windchill application development/architecture experience (5–8 years) and at least 3 years as a process architect/analyst. Responsibilities include acting as a trusted advisor to customer SMEs, providing demos, translating business requirements into technical solutions, designing cross-tool business processes (Windchill & ThingWorx), supporting integration projects, conducting comprehensive testing, developing technical documentation, and delivering end-user training and ongoing support. Travel to customer sites and other office locations may be required. Must hold an active U.S. national security clearance (or be able to obtain one) and possess PTC Windchill certifications; bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. national security clearance or ability to obtain one
- PTC Windchill certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Windchill PLM & ThingWorx Navigate
- Experience with Windchill version 12 and ThingWorx version 9
- Experience collaborating with PTC Technical Support & R&D
- Knowledge of Windchill System & Business Administration including security configurations
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
