Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic testing, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of GE 1.X wind turbines at Bull Creek Wind Farm. Perform scheduled maintenance including inspection, greasing, cleaning, and bolt tensioning while applying LOTO procedures. Complete work orders for preventative and corrective tasks, populate daily documentation, and maintain parts inventory. Support the site On-Call Program on weekends and climb turbines upwards of 130m. Follow all Health and Safety policies to maintain a zero-incident workplace and deliver exceptional service to industry partners.
Required Qualifications
- GE specific training
- electrical / mechanical competencies
- GE troubleshooting skillset/experience
- Alberta residence
- 2 years minimum GE 1.X troubleshooting experience
- 3 years minimum wind turbine troubleshooting experience
- Strong organizational skills
- High computer literacy
- aptitude with M365 applications
- Fall Protection/Rescue Training
- LOTO
- First Aid/CPR/AED
