Job Summary
Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on wind turbines and Balance of Plant equipment. Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC components while diagnosing issues using SCADA systems and diagnostic tools. Complete maintenance documentation in CMMS, manage inventory records, and operate vehicles and specialized equipment safely. Assist with medium- and high-voltage switching activities after obtaining required qualifications. Participate in rotating on-call coverage, emergency response, and travel between facilities as operational needs require. Follow all Health, Safety, Security & Environmental policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to climb wind turbines of approximately 90 meters
- Ability to work at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to utilize computerized maintenance management systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain required safety certifications, including GWO and TerraForm Power training requirements
