Job Summary
Wind Technician III performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines and related equipment, understanding electrical and hydraulic maintenance, reading schematics, and using diagnostic tools. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, electrical/electronic/mechanical troubleshooting, maintaining tools and equipment, managing training and scheduling, meeting attendance requirements, and performing other duties. The role supports safety and environmental reporting, collaborates on maintenance improvements and financial performance, and presents a professional representation of NextEra Energy to customers and the community. Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Experience: 0+ years
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
- Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet
- Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval
