Job Summary
Wind Technician II at NextEra Energy Resources in Wingate, TX. Performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment, including electrical, electronic, and mechanical components; climbs turbines up to 300 feet; maintains service logs and monitors SCADA systems; interprets fault reports; supports safety and environmental reporting; engages in Lean Six Sigma processes; recruits and develops other technicians; collaborates with internal teams to improve maintenance and financial performance; relocation benefits may be available; requires High School/GED and 1.5+ years in a technical field or technical certificate/degree; valid non-CDL driver’s license; Associate’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Experience: 1.5+ years in a technical field, OR completion of a technical certificate/degree program
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
- Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet
- Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval
