Wind Technician - Gearbox Repair

Diagnose problems involving wind turbine generators or control systems and climb towers to inspect, maintain, or repair equipment including gearbox components, bearings, and pitch tubes. Test electrical and mechanical systems using specialized devices, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform routine maintenance on wind turbine equipment and underground transmission systems. Fabricate parts, assemble structural components, and repair green energy equipment while maintaining tool inventories and collecting data for analysis. Train end-users in technical procedures and operate manufacturing equipment to fabricate wind turbines. Requires valid driver's license, 100% travel, and GWO BST or ART certificate preferred.
