Wind Site Team Leader

Job Summary

Lead and coordinate PMC site activities across all wind package workstreams, managing deployment of discipline engineers and construction management resources. Monitor EPC contractor and OEM performance against approved schedules, quality requirements, and contractual commitments while supporting achievement of project milestones, energization targets, and commissioning objectives. Coordinate interfaces among EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, utility organizations, and client representatives to manage package-level coordination for roads, foundations, turbine erection, electrical works, commissioning, and HOTO activities. Review contractor schedules, milestone forecasts, recovery plans, and resource deployment strategies to maintain visibility of package risks and recovery actions. Monitor quality, safety, environmental, and operational readiness performance, ensuring corrective actions are implemented for significant quality and HSE issues. Consolidate site observations, risks, technical issues, and recommendations into management reports and prepare package status reports, escalation papers, and readiness recommendations for governance reviews and client-facing meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in renewable energy, wind energy, power generation, or major infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing utility-scale wind projects through construction, commissioning, and handover
  • Experience working within PMC, EPC, Owner's Engineer, or large programme delivery environments
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management and multidisciplinary project coordination
  • Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-SP, or equivalent
  • Experience on large-scale renewable energy programmes involving wind, solar, BESS, and grid infrastructure
  • Familiarity with international HSE, quality, and project governance standards
  • All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
