Wind Hub Technician TX7 (Weinert,TX)

Wind Hub Technician position in TX7 Weinert, TX responsible for maintaining and servicing GE wind turbine generators at multiple wind sites within Texas Hub 7. Daily duties include electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions; troubleshooting complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch and variable speed turbines; documenting work in computer-based service reports; coordinating with Site Lead/Manager to meet contractual obligations and timelines; working with GE’s remote operations center as needed. Requires HS diploma or GED, 1 year of Wind Technician/2 years related experience with hydraulic/electrical tools, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 45 lbs, climb towers up to 300+ feet, and ability to work rotating shifts and on-call. Not a remote position; relocation assistance provided. Base pay for US-based applicants is $31.68–$42.20 per hour, with geographic differentials in certain areas.
