Job Summary
Wind Field Service Technician III based out of Blue Summit in Vernon, TX, travels up to 75% to support multiple wind sites. Responsible for field maintenance, diagnostics, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, bearing replacement, generator alignment, and ensuring turbine availability. Includes safety leadership, Lean Six Sigma participation, and recruiting/developing other technicians. Requires OSHA-compliant fieldwork and ability to operate company tooling and equipment; offers relocation assistance and benefits. Travel-intensive, hands-on technician role in wind farm environments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Experience: 0+ years
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
- Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet
- Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval
- Associate’s Degree (Preferred)
