Job Summary
Seasonal/Full-Time Wind Field Blade Repair Tech II for NextEra Energy based in Wolf Ridge near Muenster, TX. Responsible for maintenance and repair of wind turbine blades, including precision measurements, structural material removal, and execution of repairs on Category 4 and 5 issues with engineering consultation. Travel up to 80% to support wind farm operations; lead pre/post job meetings, mentor Safety practices, and participate in Lean Six Sigma processes. Must perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting on wind turbine blades; operate blade repair platforms and boom trucks; supervise and develop other technicians, coordinate parts, and ensure safety and environmental reporting. Required: High School Grad / GED, 1+ years experience or technical certificate/degree, Valid non-CDL driver's license, Post-Offer Functional Capacity Evaluation. Preferred: Associate's or equivalent experience, Trade School, CDL, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager. Relocation provided if applicable. This is a permanent/seasonal role with extensive travel and benefits during seasonal months.
Required Qualifications
