Wind Farm Technician

Job Summary
Execute planned and corrective maintenance activities on wind turbine generators and balance of plant equipment while adhering to the highest safety standards. Conduct fault-finding, repairs, and high-voltage operations across multi-brand platforms, interpreting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics. Collaborate with the Site Manager and Lead Technician to deliver operational targets and contractual obligations, utilizing maintenance systems for reporting and continuous improvement. Participate in an on-call rota and provide secondary support as required. Maintain relevant authorizations including AT and SAP status, and complete all operational, technical, and safety training programmes.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel at short notice
- Flexible working hours, including participation in an on-call rota
- Ability to interpret and work from wind turbine electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, procedures and regulatory documentation
- Competent in high-voltage operations as part of Balance of Plant (BoP) activities and responsibilities
- Eligible for security clearance and authorisation
- Maintain relevant authorisations and competencies, including AT and SAP status
