Job Summary
Conduct express freight service to California, Washington, and Oregon, then return to the Carolinas with fresh produce. Operate top-of-the-line tractor-trailer equipment as a team driver, with normal trips lasting 4 to 5 days and home time every week for 2-3 days. You do not deliver back haul; instead, return to the terminal to go home. Earn pay based on the farthest destination, including drop and pick up rates, with scheduled seniority increases and bonuses for safety and tenure. The company offers health insurance, a 401K with matching, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified drivers.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year recent tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must have a good safety record
- Must be available for trips to the West Coast (California, Washington, and Oregon)
- Must be able to work a schedule of home every week for 2-3 days
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
