Job Summary
Greet customers entering the will-call area and issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change. Assist customers by providing information, resolving complaints, and processing merchandise returns and exchanges. Establish prices, tabulate bills using calculators and cash registers, and handle customer walk-ins and will-call orders. Receive, verify, and store incoming material orders; pick required quantities for customer processing or staging. Cycle-count all parts bins, stage material for pick-up/shipment, and load trailers. Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete general cleaning duties. Communicate effectively within and outside the work group. Perform these duties in a high-paced environment while lifting up to 80 pounds regularly and squatting or stooping as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of experience
- Experience in a customer facing role
- Experience in warehouse order selecting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- The ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly, 3 to 6 hours per day
- The ability to lift to 80 pounds regularly, 3 to 6 hours per day
- The ability to squat, bend or stoop on a regular basis, 3 to 6 hours per day
- Move about the warehouse order to retrieve parts 1 to 4 hours per day
- Completion of a drug screen
- Completion of a background check

- Previous experience being able to look up parts by VIN
