Job Summary
Hybrid Wildlife Sales & Service Technician tasked with generating wildlife service revenue within a defined territory through lead management, prospecting, estimating, and closing sales, then personally performing the wildlife services sold. Responsibilities include diagnosing wildlife issues, presenting solutions, creating pricing/estimates, closing service agreements, and executing exclusion, trapping, and repair work. The role supports indoor/outdoor work in varying weather, uses ladders and power tools, and requires accurate documentation throughout the customer lifecycle. Also assists the Wildlife Team on non-directly sold services, including two-tech jobs, trap checks, and larger projects. Core duties cover sales, service delivery, customer experience, documentation/scheduling, compliance/safety, vehicle/tools/inventory, and team growth. Emphasis on safety, humane wildlife control, tenant/customer relations, and adherence to regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in wildlife control, pest control, carpentry, construction, or a related field preferred.
- Proven ability to sell services (inside/outside sales, route-based sales, or commission-based selling experience preferred).
- Strong comfort with customer-facing responsibilities including presenting pricing and closing work.
- Comfortable working with ladders, rooftops, attics, crawlspaces, and tight spaces.
- Ability to safely operate power tools (drills, saws, etc.) independently.
