Job Summary

Mass Audubon is seeking two Wildlife Care Technicians for seasonal roles, responsible for the care of non-releasable wildlife. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma and prior animal care experience. The position offers $18.48-$20.79/hour, starting January 2026.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Prior animal care experience required
  • Knowledge of wildlife biology and related natural history topics
  • Demonstrate a sincere passion for working with captive wildlife
  • Ability to communicate easily with staff and the public
  • Responsible and self-driven with the ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Ability to relate to a diverse range of people and exercise cultural competence and inclusion

Additional Requirements

  • Employees must successfully complete a CORI and SORI Background Check
  • Motor Vehicle Record check is required if applicable
