Wilderness/Logistics Assistant

Job Summary
Assist with programming components of the Wilderness summer camping program at High Peak Camp, including meal preparation and supervision of campers. Responsible for the spiritual welfare of campers and staff, ensuring smooth operation of the Wilderness program under direction from the Wilderness Program Director. Duties include facilitating camper check-in/out, maintaining cleanliness, enforcing camp policies, participating in evening programs, and promoting safety on site. The role requires a positive attitude, leadership skills, and commitment to The Salvation Army's mission.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years of age preferred
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (may be obtained on site)

- Positive attitude and ability to take a leadership role
- Experience and previous knowledge of camp activities
- Ability to use positive behavior management techniques
- Ability to adapt to difficult situations with a sense of maturity and safety
- Ability to live and thrive in an outdoor, wilderness education setting
