Job Summary
Provide specialized technical assistance, perform performance analysis, and deliver informal training for the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) constellation and Global Satellite Communications Configuration Element (GSCCE). Advise on satellite payload operations and GSCCE configuration while resolving anomalies by analyzing telemetry, transponder usage, and throughput metrics. Develop quick-reference materials and scenario-based training for operators and sustainment personnel. Synthesize complex data into actionable insights to enhance system readiness and support mission assurance across DoD SATCOM environments. Diagnose and resolve GSCCE issues. Requires US Active Top Secret clearance, 10 years WGS/GSCCE experience, and 8140 certification. Salary range $125,000.00 - $175,000.00.
Required Qualifications
- US Active Top Secret (or TS/SCI) level clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication by the cognizant security authority)
- Minimum 10 years WGS/GSCCE operations experience
- 2 years system administrator experience with Windows and Virtual Machine environment
- 8140 certification
- Travel may be required to attend technical meetings or support requirements at other sites
