WIC Site Supervisor/Nutritionist

Job Summary
Oversee daily clinic operations and supervise WIC staff; determine nutritional risk conditions; evaluate participant eligibility and issue eWIC benefits; provide individual nutrition education and counseling; deliver nutrition education classes; coordinate staff schedules and training; assist with QA, reporting, outreach, and inventories; coordinate with community partners; support vendor evaluations; perform hemoglobin/hematocrit testing and growth screenings; ensure WIC/HIPAA/GCHD compliance; travel to clinic sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition Sciences, Human Nutrition, Dietetics, Community Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, or Clinical Nutrition
- Knowledge of basic nutrition principles and client education
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Ability to complete Texas Health and Human Services WIC training plan as a Certifying Authority (CA) within 6 months of employment
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel to WIC clinic sites, trainings, and conferences as needed
- Valid Texas driver’s license (or ability to obtain)
- Willingness to work evenings/weekends if necessary
- Must meet immunization, background check, and screening requirements
- Equivalent education and experience may be considered
