Job Summary
WIC Nutritionist to provide nutrition education and counseling to WIC Participants, certify WIC Participants on the program, offer breastfeeding support and referrals, tailor food packages to meet supplemental needs, and document and schedule participants; position requires a BS in nutrition/dietetics or enrollment as a Registered Dietitian, with a focus on public health nutrition education. The role involves travel, and adheres to nonprofit community health objectives within Adagio Health's WIC program in Butler, PA.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in nutrition/dietetics or public health including medical nutrition therapy I and II
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire for providing public health nutrition education
- Must maintain PA criminal background check, FBI clearances, and child abuse clearances
- Must have valid driver's license
- Travel required
