Job Summary
Greet participants by phone or in person at various Women, Infants & Children sites, serving as the first point of contact. Travel three days a week with staff to off sites in Calaveras and Amador counties, working irregular hours and attending night meetings as required. Maintain a valid California driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance coverage for year-round travel between agency locations under all weather conditions. Complete 40 hours of breastfeeding training within three months of hire. This full-time role supports the Resource Connection's WIC program in Amador and Calaveras counties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Minimum one-year office experience handling multi-line phone system
- Basic knowledge of computer including word processing, spreadsheets, email and Internet use
- Valid California Driver's License
- Proof of current automobile insurance coverage
- Criminal record clearance
- Willingness to work irregular hours and attend night meetings
- Willingness to travel as required by the organization
- Required travels between agency locations in Calaveras and Amador Counties and out-of-area, year-round, under all weather conditions
- Successfully complete 40 hours of breastfeeding training within three months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Bilingual in Spanish
