WIC Intake Specialist 7262

Display a positive reflection of the Indiana WIC program through clinic interactions and community outreach activities. Develop working relationships with staff and partnering agencies while maintaining a compassionate clinic environment. Screen applicants for eligibility and document findings in the INWIC Management Information System, then assist with intake document completion. Issue WIC benefits and eWIC cards as needed, explaining approved foods and app usage. Provide written information regarding Medicaid and social services, and offer voter registration assistance to eligible clients. Perform heights, weights, and hemoglobin measurements when applicable. Ensure confidentiality of all client information in accordance with federal regulations. Participate in in-service education, staff meetings, and off-site conferences as required.
