Job Summary
Performs reception and participant services for the WIC program, including direct services to participants, eligibility screening, scheduling and rescheduling appointments, issuing WIC food benefits, providing education and materials, assisting with measurements and data entry, and supporting outreach and community activities. Requires strong organization, effective communication, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and bilingual preference (English/Spanish). Demonstrates professional conduct as a community ambassador and handles clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and office procedures; collaborates with other WIC clerks and participates in meetings and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED/HSE minimum required
- Basic clerical skills required
- Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance required for work related travel
- First Aid & CPR Certified (within 6 months of hire)
