Job Summary
Lead Teacher for a 4K classroom in Stoughton, WI. Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum aligned with Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards and school district guidelines; lead classroom planning and assessment to support children’s social, emotional, and academic readiness for kindergarten; maintain a safe, organized classroom; build strong relationships with families and communicate regularly to support each child’s development; ensure adherence to licensing and program requirements including documentation and continuous quality improvement. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, DPI certification, and prior classroom leadership experience. Familiarity with WI licensing and best practices is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
- DPI certification (ECE license or Elementary Ed license with pre-K or K endorsement)
- Experience leading a classroom and creating lesson plans
- Familiarity with WI licensing and classroom best practices
