Job Summary
Lead workforce safety initiatives for 750 staff across residential and home care services, shifting culture from reactive to proactive. Drive the go-live of the new WHS module in Action HRM by late 2026, develop a psychosocial safety education strategy, and manage workers' compensation claims to enhance return-to-work outcomes. Revitalise the internal WHS Committee, conduct regular workplace audits, hazard investigations, and maintain the incident register while identifying compliance gaps from manual workflows. Requires tertiary qualifications in workplace health and safety, current driver's license, and NDIS worker screening clearance. Salary of $130,000 Base + Super + NFP Salary Packaging.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a WHS role within a multi-layered or high-compliance environment
- Tertiary qualifications in workplace health and safety or a related field
- Comprehensive understanding of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and standards
- Current driver's license
- Access to a personal vehicle for travel across NSW/ACT
- NDIS worker screening clearance
- Fully vaccinated as per Health & Aged Care industry requirements
