Job Summary
Senior Manager, Wholesale Sales in Tokyo leading new business development and mandate-hunting with key distribution partners (banks, brokers, trust banks, online brokers, asset managers). Build holistic relationships from senior executives to ground level; secure new mandates and lead fund launches and promotion projects; plan and deliver sales strategy to achieve net sales targets; translate client needs to Product and Investment Management teams; continuously deepen investment capability knowledge and capital markets understanding; collaborate with Fund Promotion, Marketing, and Product teams. Requires at least 5 years of sales or product development/management experience in Asset Management; English fluency is essential. CMA, CFA, or MBA degree are preferred. Flexible working arrangements are mentioned. This role reports to the Co-Head of Business Development in Japan Wholesale Sales.
Required Qualifications
- Sales or product development/management experience in Asset Management industry at least 5 years
- Verbal and written fluency in English
