Job Summary
Wholesale Banking Relationship Specialist III supports wholesale banking clients, collaborates with Relationship Managers and Credit Portfolio Managers to originate and service loans and deposit accounts, and performs client relationship management tasks to ensure high-quality banking experiences. Responsibilities include handling daily client inquiries, performing research to provide solutions, ensuring compliance with BSA/AML and other regulations, maintaining deposit and loan accounts, facilitating due diligence (including lien searches, flood certifications, and title/document reviews), coordinating loan closings, preparing and processing wire transfers, and supporting CRM data integrity. Skills emphasized include exceptional customer service, problem solving, time management, strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, proficiency with title policies and UCC searches, and familiarity with banking software and loan documentation processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Five plus years of commercial or consumer banking or industry related experience
- One to three years of commercial loan and deposit experience
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving proficiency
- Superior time management
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication
- Very organized and detail oriented
- High level of proficiency in reading Title Policies and understanding of Real Estate Collateral
- High level of proficiency in reading and interpreting UCC lien and judgment search results
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities
- Flexible, able to adapt to change
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Outstanding analytical skills
- First-rate computer skills relevant to Microsoft 365 Suite
- High level of proficiency in commercial loan documentation, including specialized loans, Master Title Policies and Master Deeds of Trust
- Working knowledge of banking software programs
- Experience with Construction Management software, bank loan documentation software, loan origination software, CRM platforms, Core bank applications, and business online banking platforms are preferred
- Mentor experience is beneficial
