Job Summary
Forecast wholesale demand by reconciling top-down financial targets with bottom-up style plans and pressure-testing seasonal assortments against sales forecasts. Manage the entire planning function, including buying, inventory, and reporting, while leading and developing a Wholesale Planner to execute category-specific strategies. Own monthly Open to Buy processes, seasonal investment reviews, and weekly sell-through performance to mitigate stock risks and optimize account-level availability. Partner with Sales, Merchandising, and DTC teams to align purchase orders with production timelines and ERP systems like NetSuite and Invent AI. Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for leadership and drive process improvements through quarterly hindsight reviews.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in wholesale and DTC planning
- Experience managing, mentoring, or formally developing at least one direct report or junior analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or a related field
- Advanced analytical and Excel modeling ability
- Working experience in an ERP and a demand planning or planning system
- Ability to travel to market twice a year
- Must be based in Austin, TX
- Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX
