Job Summary
Senior Associate in Wholesale Lending Services responsible for end-to-end loan transactions, including ownership of complex loans, SME leadership in process-improvement and automation projects, supporting daily trading operations with traders, coordinating with clients, legal, credit and operations teams, reviewing loan documentation for risk mitigation, mentoring junior staff, maintaining strong controls and compliance, and contributing to client service programs to reduce risk and increase scalability. The role involves collaboration across teams, engagement with LMA standard documents and related agreements, and fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, banking operations, or lending services, with a strong understanding of loan products and transaction management.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex documentation and manage multiple high-priority tasks.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, or SME experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency in time management, organisation, and prioritisation, working well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated control mindset and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all activities.
- Ability to mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems and technologies.
