Job Summary
Build and deliver tire loads to Southern Tire Mart locations and wholesale customers while performing shipping and receiving duties. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, vehicle logs, and safety documentation by conducting daily maintenance checks and updating inspection sheets. Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations, load and unload shipments, and manage heavy tire lifting with or without mechanical assistance. Provide courteous service to customers and team members. Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance
- Ability to lift and handle heavy tires safely
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Desired Qualifications
- CDL preferred but not required
- Prior delivery, shipping/receiving, or warehouse experience preferred
