Job Summary
Operate company delivery vehicles to transport tires, parts, and equipment to wholesale customers on assigned routes, loading and unloading inventory at customer sites and warehouse facilities. Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries following proper documentation procedures while representing Southern Tire Mart professionally. Maintain delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and mileage records per DOT and company standards, performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Assist with warehouse operations including inventory handling, stocking, and organizing shipments, and report any delays or vehicle issues promptly. Follow all safety policies and traffic laws, occasionally assisting with tire-related tasks or mobile service support. Requires valid CDL Class D or higher, clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Stable full-time hours with overtime potential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to lift, carry, and move tires and equipment up to 100 lbs
