Job Summary
Conduct credit analysis for Investment and Non-Investment Grade counterparties, preparing recommendations on risk appetite, grading, and structuring. Lead due diligence efforts and manage portfolio exposures by monitoring ratings, sector trends, and client performance to proactively adjust limits. Negotiate Markets and loan documentation including ISDA, LMA standards, and leveraged finance agreements while coordinating with senior leaders and product specialists. Perform portfolio-level stress testing and challenging scenario assumptions, articulating conclusions to stakeholders. Apply firm risk management policies, engage with regulators and auditors, and develop junior talent through coaching and formal training sessions. Cover a broad product set across derivatives, securities financing, trade finance, and treasury products for Banks, Insurances, and Sovereign clients in Central and Northern Europe.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated analytical rigor and credit judgment, with the ability to identify, quantify, and communicate key risks
- Proficiency in financial analysis and scenario analysis relevant to wide-ranging client and product suite
- Familiarity in leveraging AI tools to support analysis and enhance efficiency
- Knowledge of transaction structures, documentation (markets, loan) sufficient to support negotiation and execution
- Strong project management capability with end-to-end ownership of workstreams; effective prioritization and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
- Clear, effective written and verbal communication; ability to establish credibility with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to coach and develop junior colleagues
- Self-directed, results-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to drive continuous improvement
- Prior experience in a comparable credit or risk environment
