Job Summary
Wholesale Credit Risk Associate responsible for diligence, risk grading, structuring, and monitoring a portfolio of lending and trading-related credit exposures for Japan-based clients; duties include due diligence, credit analysis, written memos, reviewing trading activity, cash flow analysis under stressed scenarios, setting credit exposure appetite across trading products, overseeing legal negotiations, assessing client creditworthiness and credit ratings, maintaining credit research on a client portfolio, mentoring junior staff, leading efficiency projects, and participating in client due diligence meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in credit risk management
- Coursework in accounting and corporate finance
- Strong interest in client interaction with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a demanding environment
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Japanese and English language skills
