Wholesale Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Portfolio Associate

Job Summary
Lead CRE portfolio analytics and risk research for a >$200B portfolio; evaluate CRE data including portfolio concentrations, client and property financials, appraisal and macroeconomic data; lead thematic and portfolio research initiatives to identify emerging risk trends; utilize Python and SQL to manage and manipulate large data sources to drive actionable insights in credit risk; develop data visualization techniques to convey findings in dashboards and presentations for senior management; explore LLM-based synthesis to generate comprehensive reports; preferred expertise in Deep Learning and graph networks; experience with commercial real estate analysis is a plus; advanced degree in analytical fields and proficiency with modern analytic tools (Python, Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, Qliksense); strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills; strong aptitude for leveraging modern technologies to enhance analytics and drive process efficiencies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in analytical field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics)
- Deep understanding and practical expertise and/or work experience with Machine Learning, both supervised and unsupervised
- Deep Learning (neural network) and graph network expertise & experience is strongly preferred
- Experience across broad range of modern analytic and data tools, particularly Python, Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, Qliksense
- Excellent problem solving, communications, and teamwork skills
- Direct experience with analysis of commercial real estate is a plus
- Desire to use modern technologies - should have the aptitude to use modern technologies to simplify and enhance analytics, and drive process efficiencies
