Job Summary
WHNP opportunity in the Phoenix/Paradise Valley area joining a team of OB/GYN providers. Responsibilities include performing patient exams, screenings, treatments, and recording health history for obstetrics and gynecology patients; prescribing medications and therapies; ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing; providing pre- and post-natal care and family planning services; patient education and counseling; and collaborating with physicians to deliver comprehensive care. No on-call or evening/weekend hours with 4 or 4.5 day weekday schedules. Fully licensed medical team and supportive staff in a large womens health network; practice with Genesis OBGYN and Unified Womens Healthcare network. Requirements: National NP certification, active AZ licensure, DEA license, CPR/BLS/NALS, and Womens Health NP designation; Labor and Delivery RN experience strongly preferred. Required Qualifications
- National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
- Unrestricted, active licensure in Arizona or ability to obtain
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
- CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
- Womens Health Nurse Practitioners ONLY
- Labor and Delivery RN Experience Strongly Preferred
