Job Summary
Operate a vehicle safely and responsibly to transport passengers to and from medical facilities or home within a designated mileage radius. Navigate routes using maps or GPS to minimize delays, regularly inspect the company vehicle for maintenance, and complete daily trip sheets and mechanical checklists. Ensure all permits, licenses, and documentation remain current while providing professional customer service and handling basic passenger issues. Adhere to Federal, State, and Local regulatory standards for driving and vehicle safety, reporting any mechanical problems or information systems security concerns to management. Work Monday through Friday from 4:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license for the appropriate vehicle type
- Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents
- In-depth knowledge of navigating the local area to utilize the safest and most efficient routes possible
- Excellent driving skills and the ability to handle various road and weather conditions
- Customer-service oriented with excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and schedules
- Physical fitness and stamina for long hours of driving, if applicable
- Zero (0) plus years of experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
